Cigarette Ingredients
The main ingredient in each of our brands is tobacco. Besides tobacco, our cigarettes contain a variety of additional ingredients. Ingredients have been introduced either to add flavor or aroma, or to keep the product in good condition.
For instance, food type ingredients like sugars and cocoa help to enhance the tobacco flavor, and glycerin, along with water, help to keep the cigarettes moist once they have been packed. Special trade secret ingredients are used to provide the unique individual flavor and aroma characteristic of our SATG brands. Other ingredients have technological functions such as controlling moisture, protecting against microbial degradation, and acting as binder and fillers.
Authorization for the use of ingredients in tobacco products is subject to regular and strict control by appropriate national authorities. The use of ingredients in tobacco products is controlled in some countries by legislation and in others by voluntary agreements between the government and the tobacco industry.
As with many well know consumer products, the flavor formulas used in the brand recipes of our cigarettes are highly confidential. SATG confirms that any ingredient used in our products complies with appropriate national regulations and voluntary agreements.
